Divine Provision

This drawing was a bit challenging, and I am still not sure I am finished with it.  I started with the tree and roots, and the rest just kinda developed around it.  There are four sparrows that are a bit hard to see.  A friend saw this one and made the comment, "He satisfies the desires of every living thing.".  This drawing may change a bit until I am satisfied with it.

A stroke at a time...

I want to thank all you guys who are helping me get back to China.  I should  not be much longer and then I can go.  I do not know if it will be before or right after the holidays.  I will keep you updated.  In the meantime, here is another drawing I am working on.  I started just playing with the tree trunk and roots, and I am just kinda taking is a stroke at a time and seeing what it turns out to be.  There really is no preplanning in this one, which is very different for me.  I usually have my drawings visualized completely before I draw them.  ---joy

rainy day

Hi,  today is a great but rainy day.  A great day to work on a new drawing.  still got a bit to go on it.

American Lady

Sitting outside, I watched this butterfly for a while flutter from Marigold to Marigold.  I decided to grab my camera and have fun.

Still waiting....the visa is in, but there are other factors that are not together yet. In the meantime, I have been working on few more drawings.
