In the Beginning....

I am playing with ways to illustrate or journalize the bible from Genesis to Revelation in a way that children, preteens, and even teens want to read it.  The goal is to have the actual Word of God Empower them.... as they get it themselves.

You might get a good laugh at this.... but have you ever studied God's Word from a child's perspective?

I am in the process of working on "Empowering Children Today".  I decided I want to use bible story cards for take home rather than just reading from a bible for the younger three learning levels.  Don't laugh when you get a look at the rough drafts of "Creation: God made the World" and "God the Word (3-n-1)"  I had a lot of fun creating them with the help and inspiration of Richard Gunther.

A young female in our team has asked for prayer today.  She is a great asset to the team, she translates both on and off stage, heads up many of the departments, and works around the clock to ensure the ministry runs as smoothly as she can get it.  

Her prayer today for your agreement is that has ears to hear what the Lord is speaking to her.  And have eyes to see what the Lord is showing her.  And, pray for her that she has the mind of Christ and hears and knows the voice of the Holy Spirit, being led by the Spirit of God.  Also pray that she is strong through the might of God to do the job she must do.

Today, I received a call from one of the Partners who financially and prayerfully support this ministry.

Together, we prayed in agreement regarding her sister who was in the emergency room having trouble breathing.  As we prayed, yesterday's memory verse came to mind:  "My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.  Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.  For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.  Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life."  Proverbs 4:20-23

I know this woman's sister, and I know her faithfulness and diligence in God's Word.  Health be to her, right now, today!!!  God's Word is life and health to her body!  --joy neasley

Praise Report: "Thank you to everyone who prayed for........ She is doing better. They gave her two treatments for bronchitis. They did not keep, praise God. She will continue the treatments at home. Her daughter is with her."
