“If you abide in me and my words abide in you, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you” (John 15:7).
Our time spent in God's Word grows our faith. Through the Word we are transformed in the mind. During this process we begin to understand that Christ abides in us, and that His Words have begun to abide in us as we have read and meditated upon them. It is then, that we can act upon and receive this promise. This verse directly connects His Word with our prayer life.
