Who Am I? I Am A Talking and Listening Communicator.

http://www.wealthforteens.com

Everyone faces challenging situations and circumstances from time to time.
We do not have to be moved by them.  Rather, we stand firm with our eyes on Jesus.  It is IN CHRIST we are victorious.
Prayer is a must in our walk IN CHRIST.  Prayer is a necessary part of "diligently seeking the Lord"  (Hebrews 11:6).  We are told that in addition to His Word, we must pray at all times, that means in every situation, with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit (Eph 6:17-18)  It is prayer that creates manifested change in every situation, every circumstance, every storm, and lasting change within yourself.

We often think of prayer as just asking and telling God things as we picture Him in this vast place far, far away from us.  However, prayer is our communication with God - a two way communication - just as if we were talking with a close friend or spouse.  Communication is on-going.  We talk (communicate with our spouse or friend throughout the day, about anything and everything.  We do not limit our conversations to problems in times of troubles and our needs.  Communicating (talking with God) is to be the same--regular and continual conversations.

Often times Christians tend to pray at meals, bedtime, and in church.  This means God only hears "Thank you for my food.",  "Thank you for so-n-so...", and an occasional, "God help me, forgive me, I messed up."

God wants a relationship with you.  He wants to walk with you, just as he walked with Adam in the Garden.  It is in the relationship Christians get to know God, His will, His Character and Personality.  It is in the relationship we build faith from hearing His Word, and we begin to walk in victory daily.  In our prayer life, we can deepen and further build our relationship with our Heavenly Father.

Even the devil knows how important our prayer life can be.  This is why things come up during times your are in prayer that have to the potential to prevent them.  Have you ever noticed that when you make the decision to pray with God (even just 10 minutes), thoughts begin to come to mind that seem to require your attention, the kids need immediate attention, a neighbor or family calls needing to talk, etc etc etc....  Your time with God is precious and necessary.  Devote yourself to praying regularly.
“I never pray for more than fifteen minutes at a time, but I never go more than fifteen minutes without praying.”  Smith Wigglesworth
