Who Am I? I Am Adding Value.

As a missionary, reaching people is what I do.  Missionaries are graced, equipped by God, to do what they do.  

You are also graced to reach people, every believer is.  

"And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation."  2 Corinthians 5:18

What is the ministry of reconciliation?  

The ministry of reconciliation is for every believer to spread the good news of Jesus Christ and make disciples unto God in Christ.  

It possibly includes the neighbor next door, the husband and wife out for an evening stroll in the neighborhood, your childs's teacher, the coworker in the cubical next to yours, the man who mows your lawn, or the student you sit behind in class.

How do we speak to these people?

Begin with your testimony; the quiet, yet effective testimony they see you live out each and everyday in their presence without your ever having uttered one word.  Following, thereafter, with your spoken testimony:  What God has done for you in Christ Jesus and why.

The ministry of reconciliation involves added value to someone else's life, by listening to them and speaking into their lives based on what you hear and what God is telling them.  When approached out of love, in this manner, the Gospel message gets their attention.  

What do we do in our daily walk (our testimony to those around us) to display and share our message with the world?  What do the people around us see in our lives, that in turn speaks into their lives. What does your message say to them?  Does it create a meaningful personal connection drawing them to Christ, opening the door for dialogue about what God had done for you, and wants to do for them?
