Who Am I? I am Fighting the Good Fight!

Satan is defeated.  Why are so many Christians fighting a defeated enemy?

Jesus Christ defeated Satan on the cross.  It is time we move beyond the cross and walk in victory.  Our fight is not with Satan.  Our fight is one of faith, keeping our faith.  It is a "good fight".  

We resist the devil.  We fight the good fight of faith.  

"Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses."  1 Timothy 6:12

What about the trials we go through, the mountains in front of us?  What about the sickness and disease we encounter daily? This is reality.

It may be reality.  However, as believers in Christ Jesus, we walk in the supernatural, not the natural.  

"For we walk by faith, not by sight."  2 Corinthians 5:7

Why do so many Christians spend their days fighting Satan and what they see before them?

They either do not know they are in victory or have forgotten that Satan has been defeated.  He is a defeated foe.  


Keep your attention on Faith!  When you realize your eyes are on the situation at hand rather than focusing on your faith, what do you do?  Go back to God's Word.  Read about His will for our life.

Where can we find God's will for our lives?  He has shared it with us in His Word. 

What our Father wants for His children is expressed in Genesis Chapters 1 and 2, and in Revelation Chapters 21 and 22.   Read these passages, meditate on them, get to know God's focus for our lives.  then walk by faith that this is the life you can live with "the good fight of faith."
