Who Am I? I Am Educated, Knowledgable, and Informed.

Faith and doubt do not cohabitate.  They do not coexist.

Doubt is hindrance created by thoughts the enemy has placed in your mind, and those thoughts were entertained rather than resisted.  Doubt is also a result of ignorance.

Ignorance is not the dirty, name calling, word many believe it is.  Ignorance is simply a lack of knowledge, information, or education. "Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."  John 8:31-32

My son-in-law just received a new cell phone as an early Father's Day gift.  Let us say his old phone was destroyed, he dropped it in the kitchen sink while washing the dishes (I really do not know what happened to his old phone.  This is just an example.)  He is upset and frustrated because he is without a phone for days.  Trying to work out getting a new one,  he is ignorant of the fact that is new phone is actually right under his nose.  He lacked the knowledge that his new phone was sitting in the house wrapped in a pretty brown wrapping paper with white polka dots, and a beautiful pink bow.  Because he did not know he had a phone, he did not have access to using it, until it was presented to him.

The same is true with The Word of God.  One of the root causes of doubt is simply ignorance of your rights and privileges, blessings and favor, as a child of God, not knowing who you are and what is yours.  Faith is the opposite of doubt.

How do you dispel doubt?  Build faith.

Dig into God's Word and gain knowledge of what it contains.  Gain the necessary information to have faith.

"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."  Romans 10:17
