Who Am I? I Am in God's Reality, Not the Devil's Fiction.

Whose report do you believe?  "I believe the report of the Lord."

God's Word is our reality.  God's Word is our Truth.  Yet, circumstance surrounding your life may seem to contradict what you know as FACT and TRUTH.

What does a believer do when this is the situation?  Believe God's report and take the Promised Land.

Here is a story of two who did just that!

After God brought the Israelites out the Egypt, Moses led the people to the Promised Land.  During their travels, the Isrealites witnessed God part the Red Sea, provide food supernaturally (manna), guide them by a fire at night and a cloud by day.  Yet, upon reaching the Promised Land, the land God has blessed them to take, they displayed fear, doubt, and unbelief.
God instructed Moses to send men to explore the land of Canaan, the Promised Land, that He was giving them.  Moses sent 12 spies into the land to scout it out.
Ten of the twelve gave the following report:

And they told him, and said, We came unto the land whither thou sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it.  (28)  Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there.  (29)  The Amalekites dwell in the land of the south: and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains: and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jordan.  (30)  And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.  (31)  But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.  (32)  And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.  (33)  And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.  Numbers 13:27-33
But, two of the twelve reported:

"And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it."  Numbers 13:30
"If the LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey.  (9)  Only rebel not ye against the LORD, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the LORD is with us: fear them not." Numbers 14:8-9
Guess whom the people believed?  The 10 with the false report.

God had told them He was giving them the land.  They just needed to go take it.  It was already their land.  However, instead of taking it, they let the circumstances (the giants in the land) in front of them determine their REALITY.  The people wandered in the desert until the entire generation of adults died  (except for Caleb and Joshua) as a result of fear, unbelief, and doubt.

The next generation believed God and took the Promise Land that their parents never saw.

I heard a pastor once say, "There are two reasons why people do not take what is already theirs to have."
The first is that they do not know God's will (His Word as it applies to them) for their lives.  Thus, creating doubt.
Secondly, they do not  understand faith, and that you must walk by faith, not by sight.  (2 Corinthians 5:7)

The cure for doubt, unbelief, and fear is knowing God's Word.
"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."  John 8:32
"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."  Romans 10:17
Change your circumstances?  Change your life?  Change the way others see you?

Learn the Truth.  Build Faith.  Exercise it.
